I absolutely think it is ironic. The reason is that the family is not having the great camp. They are having the trouble and they are having the Japanese internment camp. The meaning of camp is the event that we enjoy and make friendship. I don't think they look happy and joyful. I would better say 'Hardship camp'. I don't know the name makes sense, but for me I think it's perfect. The evidence is the sentence in a book. They said that 'Most of the Japanese Americans in the western part of the country were imprisoned in these camps. This is a reason why the name of 'Camp Harmony' doesn't appropriate. After i read this book, i felt sad and i questioned myself, "Why does Japanese-Americans have to be suffer?" "Why can they just live their life and be free of suffering?' You know... even Koreans got suffered by Japan and China and now i can't bare to see them anymore!!!
